This is one testimonial I received from Scott Andrews that went with me to St. Anton this year.

Hello Everyone from the "Kertess group"...

I just wanted to reach out to you all and tell you how much I really LOVED traveling with you, and getting to know you a little for that short duration of our trip to Austria. I know I was pretty talkative, but I don't thing right now that I can find the words to express how much this trip has meant to me, how it affected me, and how largely it was due to the wonderful folks that made me feel welcome (that's you). Couldn't have asked for a better gift to myself than this particular trip at this particular moment of my life. I don't know how I could ever thank each of you enough for helping to make it what it was for me!
But if there's ever anything I could do, let me know.

I didn't think things could get much better than Vienna for me, but I absolutely fell in love with Paris too... what an amazing city. Three days there was definitely not enough but was a good start. Got to see most of what I wanted. Hotel could NOT have worked better either! And I lost weight on this trip!
(You saw me eat and eat. wow; this is better than the South Beach Diet!!)

Anyway, I came home on a HIGH, bigtime. Three days later had a wonderful divorce hearing (I know it sounds ironic, but it couldn't have been better for either of us). Three hours later, I had an offer on my condo (and am now under contract), the one I've been fighting foreclosure on... wow, I feel like I won the lottery. My now-ex-wife said I should have done this trip for myself YEARS ago. But I think everything happened when it did for all the right reasons.

As you all also noticed, I took lots of pictures on this trip. I've been starting to put some of them up for all to see (and take if desired). I would love to see and have (if possible) any you would like to share. You see, in the process of putting together some folders for Picasa, I accidently deleted about 250 (about a quarter?) of my photos. This has been heart wrenching since it was really the second half of the trip -- Salzburg onward. Fortunately, I took a few with my backup camera, but just a fraction of what I had hoped. So, any pictures would be loved!

I would love to keep in touch with you all individually, so I'll write back to anyone who answers, and make it more personalized next time. I just got my taxes done (last day), so now I have free time and a life again to get the photos posted. I'll let you know the URL when I have it.

Danke schönn again for making this trip so great. I am looking forward to next year!! Please keep in touch!

Love,
Scott
